Banana, Apple and Oat Slice
This wholesome Banana, Apple, and Oat Slice is packed with nutritious ingredients and natural sweetness. This slice is a perfect snack to satisfy hungry tummies between meals, offering a delicious and wholesome treat for children.

Serves 4-6
Ingredients
- 375g Rolled oats
- 250g Sultanas
- 125g Brown sugar
- 150g Apple puree (about 1 medium apple)
- 150g Banana, smashed (about 1 large banana)
- 190g Self-raising flour
- 15g Baking powder
- 15g Vanilla essence
- 200g margarine or butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 170°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the oats, sultanas, brown sugar, flour, and baking powder. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix the apple puree and smashed banana together.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then stir in the vanilla essence and melted margarine until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into the lined tray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
