Apple and Blueberry Bircher

Our delicious Apple and Blueberry Bircher recipe is packed full of nutritious ingredients, and is such and easy grab-and-go option for breakfast.

This recipe was provided by our wonderful Chef Carol at Guardian Preston West.


  • 1/2 apple, grated
  • 1/2 punnet blueberries
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Dollop of yoghurt, for serving (optional)


  1. In a bowl, combine the grated apple, blueberries, rolled oats, coconut milk, apple juice, cinnamon, and ground cloves.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with an airtight lid and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Serve chilled with a dollop of yoghurt on top.
