Guardian’s amazing new Centre in Bruce, ACT has officially opened its doors!
Featuring custom-designed spaces for Nursery, Toddler and Pre-School children, as well as a ‘community square’ and an art studio, the Centre also includes extensive nature-inspired outdoor play and discovery areas that children will love.
The incredibly high quality of Reggio-inspired play and learning facilities is matched by our experienced team of educators who are excited at joining this exceptional Centre.
The Bruce Centre is located just to the South East of the University of Canberra main campus and is approved to accommodate 136 children.
Guardian Educators from our NSW Centres recently participated in a professional development program that focused on artistic practice in the mediums of drawing and clay sculpture.
Arts for Educators brought together arts and early learning practice so that Guardian early childhood educators are empowered to promote arts practice into their pedagogical approaches to teaching and ensuring learning in our Centres is creative, sophisticated, reflective and critical.
By sharing a collaborative learning experience with children and families, the educators experienced a wonderful opportunity for creative expression and development of their professional identity and knowledge.
Partners Group, the global private markets investment manager, has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Guardian Early Learning Group on behalf of its clients.
Tom Hardwick, the founder and CEO of Guardian, comments: “We are thrilled to welcome Partners Group as our new majority shareholder – it is a real honour that a global investment group with the prestige, size and experience of Partners Group has chosen to back our vision to grow the size and quality of our business. We are looking forward to working with Partners Group to pursue our business objectives and in the process enhance the quality of the early learning and care experience we provide to families in the communities we serve.”
