Guardian’s Pedagogical Exchange Features on The Northsider
21st March 2017

In February, Guardian Early Learning Group opened its world-class Pedagogical Exchange in Melbourne. This education and training facility is the first of its kind in Australia and was recently featured on The Northsider.
Focussing on the opening of the Exchange, The Northsider noted that “it sets a national benchmark in education training for the early learning sector.”
“Reflecting Guardian’s dedication to creating a sustainable future for children, the Pedagogical Exchange uses its materials store and art studio to run the Guardian Exchange Project, which recycles, reuses and repurposes waste materials for creative learning opportunities.”
Hundred Languages of Children
Alongside the opening of The Exchange, the Hundred Languages of Children Exhibition was also celebrated. Touring the world for 35 years, this exhibition gives insight into how children thing through words, drawings, sculptures and drawings.
According to Kathryn Waugh, Head of Curriculum and Quality at Guardian Early Learning Group, “the Hundred Languages of Children Exhibition demonstrates the complex thinking that children are capable of, brings it to life, and provides evidence of their capabilities by moving them through the theory to practice.”
The Hundred Languages of Children Exhibition will be open until July 2016. For tickets and information about this unique exhibition head here.
